Mission
The Enterprise Fire Department is committed to providing safety to the city's residents. We strive to shield the public from damages resulting from fire, accidents and other emergencies or natural disasters.

We are able to achieve public safety through quick responsiveness, fire suppression, public education and through the ongoing certification and training of our firefighters.

All Enterprise firefighters are certified through the Alabama Firefighter Personnel Standards Commission and are Nationally Registered and licensed Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) through the Alabama Department of Public Health, as an EMT or Advanced EMT or Paramedic.

Emergency Calls
The Department responded to more than 4,200 fire, rescue, medical and other emergency calls in 2022.

ISO Rating
The Insurance Services Office (ISO) ranks a fire department's ability to serve the community on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the best. The Enterprise Fire Department holds ISO Class 2 rating. This ranks the Enterprise Fire Department in the top 5% in the state of Alabama and in the top 6.5% in the United States.
